Mrs. Krystle Shelton, Assistant Principal

Welcome Schorlemmer families! My name is Krystle Shelton and I am honored to be the Assistant Principal at Schorlemmer Elementary.   This is my 9th year as a Schorlemmer Bear and 2nd year in this role. During my journey in education, I was a classroom teacher, math/science instructional coach and now AP. What I love most about my job is building relationships with our students and families, encouraging students to become lifelong learners, and helping students learn to love math.

I was born and raised in Victoria and attended Victoria public schools (Dudley, Juan Linn, Howell, Victoria High School and then graduated from Memorial High School). I received my bachelors degree from Texas A&M University in College Station (2007) and my Masters in Educational Leadership degree from Lamar University.

I am a mom to three boys, Ty (14), Koy (10) and Jay (7). My husband and I enjoy spending time with our boys as they ride dirt bikes, learn to fly, raise stock show animals, and play sports. We love to be on the water, boating or fishing. I love to travel and experience new things. During the fall you can find me watching college football!

I look forward to serving our students, families, and staff in this role.
